Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

Verification Policy

Highballers does not require customers to submit KYC documentation solely because they make deposits, regardless of the deposit amount. Customers can deposit and use the platform without undergoing routine verification checks.

However, Highballers reserves the right to request KYC documentation at any time where there is a legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, responsible gambling, payment processing, or other compliance-related concern. This may include suspicious transaction activity, AML reviews, source of funds checks, account security concerns, withdrawal reviews, or where verification is otherwise required by law or our internal compliance procedures.

Where verification is required, Highballers aims to review and process documents as quickly and efficiently as possible in order to avoid unnecessary delays or disruption to the customer experience.

Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy

Highballers is committed to complying with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”), Counter-Terrorist Financing (“CTF”), and Know Your Customer (“KYC”) regulations and principles. These measures are designed to prevent financial crime, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other unlawful activity through customer identification, verification, and ongoing monitoring.

Highballers reserves the right, at any time, to request any documentation or information necessary to verify the identity, age, source of funds, and location of any user. We may restrict access to services, deposits, withdrawals, or account functionality until satisfactory verification has been completed, or where otherwise required under applicable laws, regulations, licensing conditions, or internal risk procedures.

Risk-Based Approach

Highballers applies a risk-based approach to customer due diligence and transaction monitoring. Depending on the customer profile, transaction activity, and overall risk assessment, one or more of the following due diligence measures may be applied:

  • Simplified Due Diligence (SDD) – Applied in limited cases involving low-risk customers or low-risk transactions.
  • Customer Due Diligence (CDD) – Standard verification procedures applied to most customers.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) – Applied to higher-risk customers, unusual activity, large transactions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), or where additional verification is required.

Verification Policy

Highballers does not generally require KYC documentation for standard deposit activity, regardless of deposit amount. However, we reserve the right to request verification documents at any time where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud prevention, responsible gambling, payment processing, or other compliance-related reasons.

This may include situations involving:

  • Suspicious or unusual transaction patterns
  • Potential fraud or chargeback concerns
  • AML or sanctions screening requirements
  • Source of funds verification
  • Multiple account detection
  • Withdrawal reviews
  • Regulatory obligations
  • Responsible gambling checks

Where verification is required, Highballers aims to complete the review process as quickly and efficiently as possible, with minimal disruption or delay to the customer experience.
